The Truth about your 30’s, is it really all down hill from here on out..!!
Now that I’m in my early thirties I’ve noticed a huge change in both my skin and body. I truly thought they were all lies when I read about it in my twenties but alas it has all caught up on me… Eating chocolate or anything bold really, does go straight to my hips now and it takes a lot longer to get rid of. There doesn’t seem to be any quick fixes out there that can help with losing a few pounds in a few days without piling it all back on and some within a few weeks.. Am I just not researching the right quick fixes or does this seem to be the case for a lot of us? Muffin top appears a lot more freely now, especially when I go off and have a little binge on the weekend Monday mornings are not good to be around me!! My extremes these days are not so healthy though, one week I could be binging on a whole bar of Lindt chocolate a night to the next week not eating sugar at all - exception fruit that’s still allowed!!
Although thirty plus seems daunting at times. Especially when we are living in a world of twenty somethings advertising and selling us the next product that is going to highlight or contour our faces to perfectly younger looking skin. I know how it works, I used to be one of those twenty somethings working in cosmetics in a luxury department store.
On the flip side non skin or fat related it’s really not all that bad being thirty plus, I’ve become a lot more comfortable with myself confidence wise (I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with my waist size) I do things for me now I don’t waste time with others who take my precious time for granted and the people I spend my time with I enjoy being around.
I’m trying new things each week, read about the next crazy fad diet or beauty buzz mishap that I feel is going to benefit my lifestyle which is pretty hectic these days as I have a business to run…
